It was lovely to take a little break from my busy schedule yesterday, by spending some long awaited hours in nature - watching all the busy birds in search of food for their chicks.

This great spotted woodpecker father (Dendrocopos major), had a busy morning feeding its big chick and cleaning the nest.

Today two beautiful, loving and wise women that I knew well, each lost their battle with cancer ❤

It's so sad that their families and friends will not get to have them in their lives for many more years 💔
