Animal intelligence
Today, I publish these two photos for informational purposes only.
During my photographic year, the Red Partridge turned out to be the smartest wild animal to escape my attempts at photographic capture.
A gregarious bird lives in groups of 12/15 elements, organized with sentinels who guard the place where the brigade stays or is feeding. One morning I walked away from home to try to understand what some small noises were between the house and a long hedge. After a wide lap, back home ... here! Two sentInels on the roof check the situation by looking in opposite directions and then the male, recognizable by the spurs on his legs, climb to the highest point to overseer the situation. Next to it a walnut shell on the chimney, left by a Magpie (Pica pica) very active in those days, with ripe fruit on the plants.
This little creatures left me speechless ...
