These lizards were a common sight around our hotel complex.

There was a colony of these birds nesting in a garden outside of our hotel complex. However, the birds would come into the grounds and strip lengths of palm for their nests.

This amazing natural phenomenon is formed from the conversation of basaltic lava into clay minerals. These colourful dunes are found in the south of Mauritius. I've stitched 3 shots together to try and convey how this fascinating landscape looks.

The Ornate Day Gecko occurs on Mauritius and surrounding Islands. They are usually found on Palm Trees, however this one had a liking for a fence panel. They vary quite a lot in colour some with turquoise backs with reddish spots. Their diet is insects and nectar. Go Large!
