I thought about which photo I'm going to post today before I finally set off and then decided on my calendar picture from March, which I hardly saw because I was constantly on the go.
Here you see the forest of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains shortly before the great forest fire last year (no idea what it looks like there now). It was created shortly after sunrise from the Winterberg.
As I looked at the details of this scene through the telephoto lens, there was one tree that immediately drew me in. The one among so many. This photo is dedicated to this tree.
You can now think about which one that is.

Ich hab mir überlegt, welches Foto ich heute poste, bevor ich mich dann endgültig auf den Weg mache und habe mich dann für mein Kalenderbild vom März entschieden, was ich kaum gesehen habe, da ich ja andauernd unterwegs war.
Ihr sehr hier den Wald des Elbsandsteingebirges kurz vor dem Großen Waldbrand im letzten Jahr (keine Ahnung, wie es dort jetzt aussieht). Es entstand kurz nach Sonnenaufgang vom Winterberg aus.
Als ich mir die Details dieser Szene durch das Teleobjektiv angesehen habe war da ein Baum, der mich sofort angezogen hat. Der Eine unter so vielen. Diesem Baum ist dieses Foto gewidmet.
Ihr könnt jetzt mal überlegen, welcher das wohl ist..

C-Falter (Polygonia c-album) - comma butterfly

Besides of their beautiful colours, their grace and elegance belongs to the things I love most on butterflys. Take a look at the posture of this specimen. For me, thats the epitome of pride and self confidence (and this absolutely unarmed). By the way, I believe, that pride is no sin but a important puzzle piece of a healthy mind.

Neben Ihren wunderschönen Farben gehören die Grazie und Eleganz zu den Dingen, die mich am meisten bei Schmetterlingen begeistern. Man schaue sich nur mal die Körperhaltung dieses Exemplars hier an. Für mich der Innbegriff von Stolz und Selbstbewusstsein (und das völlig unbewaffnet). Im Übrigen halte ich Stolz nicht für eine Sünde, sondern für ein wichtiges Puzzelteil einer gesunden Seele.

The Stony Bridge is one of the landmarks of the city Regensburg. With a building start in the year 1135 it is the oldest retained bridge in germany. Until the completion of the chain bridge in Budapest it was, for about 800 years, the only solid bridge across the river Donau.

Die Steinerne Brücke ist eines der Wahrzeichen der Stadt Regensburg. Mit ihrem Baubeginn im Jahr 1135 gilt sie als die älteste erhaltene Brücke Deutschlands. Bis zur Fertigstellung der Kettenbrücke in Budapest war sie fast 800 Jahre lang die einzige massive Brücke über die Donau.
