Another snapshot from somewhere in the hills of Moravian Tuscany.
If you hike around here or explore the area by car, you will find motifs like this everywhere.
With the latter, the biggest challenge is always finding a place where you can safely stop and park your car. The roads here are quite narrow and winding for long stretches (i.e. confusing). I drove past some interesting motifs because I didn't manage to do so and I didn't have the time (sometimes I didn't feel like it) to walk back a kilometer or more.

Wenn man hier herum wandert, oder die Gegend mit dem Auto erkundet, findet man solche Motive überall.
Bei letzterem ist die größte Herausforderung immer, einen Platz zu finden, an dem man gefahrlos anhalten und sein Auto abstellen kann. Die Strassen hier sind doch über weite Strecken recht schmal und kurvenreich (also unübersichtlich). Ich bin an einigen interessanten Motiven vorbei gefahren, weil mir dies nicht gelungen ist und ich keine Zeit (manchmal auch keine Lust) hatte, erst einen Kilometer oder mehr zurück zu laufen.

When I arrived in Moravia, I was surprised at how many vineyards there are because I hadn't even mentioned this region as a growing region.
And even though the vines here are still hibernating, I had to take at least one photo of these even rows that stretch over some of the hills here.
By the way, I've been back in the seminar room for a few days now. You know what that means by now ;-).
Als ich in Mähren angekommen bin, war ich überrascht, wie viele Weinberge es hier gibt, denn ich hatte diese Region garnicht als Anbaugebiet auf meinem Zettel.
Und auch, wenn die Weinstöcke hier noch Winterschlaf halten, so musste ich doch mindestens ein Foto von diesen gleichmäßigen Reihen machen, die sich hier über einige Hügel ziehen.
Ich bin jetzt übrigens wieder ein paar Tage im Seminarraum. Ihr wisst ja inzwischen was das bedeutet ;-).

And so we end our trip to Moravian Tuscany in the Czech Republic where we started it, on the chestnut avenue.
This shot is a little further than the first, so that two beautiful trees in the foreground come into the picture where you can just see the first new green (which is more of a yellow here).
I hope I was able to convey the special beauty of this region. In my opinion, this, good prices and, last but not least, a very friendly population make Moravia a worthwhile travel destination.
Und so beenden wir unseren Auflug in die Mährische Toskana in der Tschechischen Republik dort, wo wir ihn beginnen haben, an der Kastanienallee.
Diese Aufnahme ist etwas weiter als die erste, so dass noch zwei schöne Bäume im Vordergrund mit ins Bild kommen an denen gerade das erste neue Grün zu erkennen ist (was hier eher ein Gelb ist).
Ich hoffe ich war in der Lage, die besondere Schönheit dieser Region zu vermitteln. Dies, gute Preise und nicht zuletzt eine sehr freundliche Bevölkerung, machen Mähren aus meiner Sicht zu einem lohnenswerten Reiseziel.

My Monday flower greeting comes today as a breakfast buffet.
Every spring, when the flowering currant blooms in my garden, there is a lot of air traffic in the bush. So I positioned myself here one morning and tried to capture some of the guests in pictures. By the way, it's not that easy, as the period in which the little furry buzzers stand still and drink is only a few seconds long. So you have to somehow guess where a visitor will sit down next so that you can focus quickly enough.
But it's not the bees that come here for a feast, but the bumblebees (and always a lot of them). I suspect that the bees don't have such long tongues and therefore don't reach the bottom of the calyxes. You can clearly see the impressive organs the bumblebees are equipped with in the two pictures below. That's not the only reason why it's worth zooming into the pictures. The details are fascinating.
And even though I've already written a lot, I still wish you a drony and buzzy week.
Mein montäglicher Blumengruß kommt heute als Frühstücksbuffett daher.
Jeden Frühling, wenn in meinem Garten die Blut-Johannisbeere blüht, herrscht hier in dem Strauch ein reger Flugverkehr. Also habe ich mich mal einen Morgen hier postiert und versucht einige der Gäste im Bild festzuhalten. Das ist übrigens garnicht so einfach, dann der Zeitraum, in dem die kleinen pelzigen Brummer still stehen und trinken ist jeweils nur wenige Sekunden lang. Man muss also irgendwie erahnen, wo sich ein Besucher als nächstes hinsetzen wird, damit man dann schnell genug mit dem Fokussieren ist.
Doch es sind nicht die Bienen, die sich hier zum Festmahl einfinden, sondern die Hummeln (und immer eine ganze Menge davon). Ich vermute, dass die Bienen keine so lange Zunge haben und deshalb nicht bis zum Grund der Blütenkelche vordringen. Mit welchem beeindruckenden Organ die Hummeln ausgestattet sind, kann man auf den beiden unteren Bildern sehr gut sehen. Nicht nur deswegen lohnt es sich, in die Bilder hinein zu zoomen. Die Details sind schon faszinierend.
Und auch, wenn ich jetzt schon recht viel geschrieben habe, so wünsche ich Euch trotzdem noch schnell eine summige und brummige Woche.

My series about the beautiful Moravian Tuscany in the Czech Republic is coming to an end. For the three photos that remain now, let's go back to places we've been before and look at them from a different perspective.
We start at this beautiful windmill, which we were able to admire from a distance.
I think it's definitely worth getting a little closer to.
And the more I look at this photo, the more I like the idea of living here. Could you imagine that too?
Meine Serie über die wunderschöne Mährische Toskana in der Tschechischen Republik nähert sich ihrem Ende. Für die drei Fotos, die jetzt noch übrig sind, gehen wir noch einmal zurück zu Orten, an denen wir schon einmal waren und schauen uns diese einmal aus einer anderen Perspektive an.
Wir beginnen bei dieser schönen Windmühle, die wir schon aus der Ferne bewundern durften.
Ich finde, sie ist es definitiv Wert, auch einmal ein Stück näher heran zu rücken.
Und je mehr ich mir dieses Foto jetzt anschaue, um so mehr gefällt mir der Gedanke hier wohnen zu wollen. Könntet ihr euch das auch vorstellen?
