It was an amazing experience looking at these massive hills distinguished by varied stripes of red, tan, orange, and black. Here is an interesting boardwalk at Painted Cove trail leading through impressively colored clay mounds.

I was extremely lucky to photograph this scene at Warm Springs. After spending the morning at Trillium lake, I decided head towards Bend, OR. While driving towards Madras, I saw this lenticular cloud over Mt. Jefferson. I pulled over and took couple of photos but with out any interesting foreground. In search of some form of foreground I took a turn in to one of the roads leading in to the reservation just to find what I wanted.

Wreck of the Peter Iredale during twilight at Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon, USA.

While exploring interesting photo spots on Oregon coast, I came across this location near Astoria. I was torn between Cape Disappoint and this one considering time limitation. You now know which one I chose.

I had only 15 minutes left before the park closes around 10 PM and thanks to the ocean, the ship wreck was not far off from the parking lot. But I found it really difficult to compose the shot with almost no light and waves crashing every now and then making me run to the shore.
