I always wanted to visit this amazing geological site after watching the movie, Close Encounter of the Third Kind. After driving for almost 400 mi overnight and being disappointed previous evening, i wanted to give it one more shot before giving up photographing this beautiful monument. Next day i woke up around 4 AM; while driving towards the park, i saw the smog caused by forest fire accentuating the beauty of the tower. Got this perfect shot with out much effort.

Rising 1,267 ft above Belle Fourche river, Devils Tower is the first national monument of United States.

After hearing all the non-sense news about Super Moon, i have decided to go to Nandi Hills on Saturday to see how "Super" the moon will be. Reached well on time to the summit, at the exact moment when the sun was setting. Then we saw the monkey gangs everywhere just like any other tourist spot in India. While talking about our previous experience at Badami shooting some great portraits of monkeys, we came across a monkey taking care of a new born. Took the camera out and started shooting and slowly other monkeys joined the photo shoot. As you can see in the photograph, they are literally posing (rather curious) for the shots with zero fear.

After sometime the moon rose from the horizon and there is nothing "Super" about it. But the monkeys made that visit Superb.

For sure, Seattle is incomplete without Space Needle. I saw so many photographs of space needle on flickr but the real challenge was to photograph it differently. Here is one through a sculpture outside the Music Project. Sorry, it was completely dark and i didn't really notice the name of sculpture.

Had to change hue of the sky a bit as it was completely cloudy and there was not enough contrast between the sculpture and the space needle. I saw so many color combinations with the hue change and finally settled with blue. I think monochrome also will look good on this.

That's the best title i could give to this photograph. After walking for almost 4 miles and climbing 50 floors (of course an elevator ride) i have reached this wonderful spot.

Photographed is the Fall (Autumn) colors of the Back Bay as seen from the Prudential Tower Skywalk.

As it was almost getting dark, i had to try few different photographs using different lens. I was constantly searching for something to photograph from there. Personally i like brownstones as much as i like fall. A deadly combo :)

One of the many exciting things about Boston is missing mesh fencing on most of the pedestrian overpasses. I did some research a while ago on shooting some traffic trail photographs of Storrow drive. I know that Storrow drive is the best spot for shooting traffic trails but not sure about the best overpass.

Thanks to Google satellite view, i found one between Gloucester and Fairfield streets in Back Bay. The barriers on that overpass are just over three feet in height and I had to almost sit on the overpass not because i am scared of the heights or the traffic but to avoid scaring the drivers. If you want to try this standing on the overpass, better you hold the handrails :-)
