Not even a full hour after I explained to my mother the science behind a double rainbow, she came inside and told me to grab my camera. Funny how things work out.

Five minute exposure pointing toward Polaris. The sky was clear and dark that night, which produced some amazing eye-candy.

"What is a magical operation? It may be defined as any event in nature which is brought to pass by will. We must not exclude potato-growing or banking from our definition. Let us take a very simple example of a magical act: that of a man blowing his nose." --Aleister Crowley

Do you ever have moments when you feel as if your hands are bound, when someone, somewhere needs you more than anything? Have you ever felt so fucking disappointed to the point of infuriation?

It's not right to let everything ride on one individual; it's not safe to let everything ride on one individual. It's not right to leave it up to one man to come in and scoop up all of the fucking pieces.

But sometimes it's just what'cha gotta do. Hang in there man, I'm coming home.

Taken the same night as "Celestial Waltz". Alex and I headed out to go stargazing and after a few shots of the stars themselves I grabbed one of the horizon. This was a long exposure set for 12 minutes that I took facing west back toward Seattle.

I took another shot from the same angle but it came out a little underexposed, so I adjusted and took another. This turned out to be the last possible shot from here before Jupiter made its way behind the trees.
