Part of my Working Man Series. This elderly gentleman was painting the curb in a parking lot when I spotted him. The fact he was doing it with a paint brush stroke by stroke just shouted for me to try and get a candid of him.
I don’t know why he would not use a sprayer or roller to get the job done quickly other than he had plenty of time on his hands and needed to keep busy.

As one of then barges pulls into one of the locks on the Mississippi River the ship crew must tie it to the dock while they open the gates at the front end of the barge to lower it below the dam. Amazing how this 3 inch thick rope hopes the massive tanker barge. Amazing his ability to lasso perfectly over the pier post. Another rope was also tied at front end of barge...but that’s another photo.

The day isn't done until the work is done. Caught these two farmers sealing up for the evening. Looks like the field in back is just being harvested.
