I angled the several flanking trains at the station house in Creston, IA because it looked so powerful and solid colors. I decided to enhance the image with an under layer of glowing edges (45% opacity). The final effect now makes it look like a model train set.

No - not my Lionel! This just rolled into the Creston, IA train yard. Having a Santa Fe Model as a kid I just had to photograph it.

This old truck sitting by side of the road outside Knoxville, IA. has probably been photographed a hundred times. I caught it on a winter's morn and nearly got bit by the dogs of the farm as I stood in the drainage ditch to get the low angle. My only mistake was not photographing the dogs glistening teeth as it growled a foot from my face. I used Photoshop 9 to solarize the image for effect and lightened the chrome areas.

Found in Southwest Iowa, the gentleman driving is in his 80's. I was having fun with the solarize and smudge effects to dramatize the image. The real car only putted around 20 mph.
