Old woodworker tools were set up for sale in a local antiques store. They caught my eye, yes I had to do some slight arrangement to hide the sale tags, you can still see a few strings, but none the less it was opportunity for a good black and white. Remember back then B&W was all they had.

These are butter churns. I spotted them in the local antique shop and noticed the light refracting through them. I took 3 angles but liked this shot the best.

These skates were hanging in a local antiques store. I felt the zoom in and tight crop would lend more to their mystique. They obviously show some serious scrapes and falls. Canon G12

This old truck sitting by side of the road outside Knoxville, IA. has probably been photographed a hundred times. I caught it on a winter's morn and nearly got bit by the dogs of the farm as I stood in the drainage ditch to get the low angle. My only mistake was not photographing the dogs glistening teeth as it growled a foot from my face. I used Photoshop 9 to solarize the image for effect and lightened the chrome areas.
