The gardeners of the in Des Moines Botanical Center provided the perfect canvas for this shot. Most people taking the picture that day were at ground level, however I noticed a set of stairs that led to a small area from above to give this view.
I woke up late to an early morning hoarfrost. Rushed out the door to try and catch it in all its glory. The only scenic place close to me I could think of is a place called Easter Lake and they had the perfect scene. Another 15 minutes and the frost started melting quick, and its effects were gone.
