I'm back from my Fly--fishing trip ....and no, this is not me but my good friend Ed whom I grew up with and have fly-fished with for over 40 years.
We did catch some rainbow trout on this lake (Lake Marie, in the Snowy Mountain Range, Wyoming) The elevation is about 10,000 feet and the winds were brisk but comfortable.
The short Fishing trip was good!

Sandhill Cranes on the Platte River waking to the rising sun - shortly they will start to disperse and hit the fields for food.
They return back to the water and sandbars at dusk.
(Now you know where I disappeared to last week - prepare for more crane shots)

Down a snow covered dirt road usually you will come across a one lane bridge. If I shot the opposite direction I would have an equal vanishing point.

Found on one of the smaller ponds around the Teton Mountain Range, Jackson Wyoming!
The male is in its breeding plumage and has the green marking on the head. Taken last May 2022.
