The buoy and tires in the foreground are from the marina which has been prepped for winter.

Well at least these buildings are interesting to look at.. Like a lot of cities with a shoreline, a wall of these buildings has been erected between the water and the rest of the city like a wall fencing you in.

Oct 3... Be advised that this picture is currently on skyscraperscity.com for the past 26 days DESPITE my written objection. They have yet to purge their site despite my repeated requests including a formal DMCA takedown notice.

If you have a similar picture and you assert "all rights reserved" you may want to check this site for similar infringement of your image.

Oct 9th update The picture has been finally taken down. All in all it took 1 registered letter, 1 fax, 5 phone calls and dozen (+/-) emails. What sparse communication came back was terse to the point of rudeness (no names or contact details) and argued virtually every point. There are places in the world where I am used to this style of business. However this business is in Toronto! I also found out that these guys have a history with flickr concerning the same issues.

Working Blacksmith shop. Very interesting, friendly and smokey!

www.strachursmiddy.org.uk/

Technically this was quite a tricky shot and I had to do some RAW post processing to bring it all back. I was particularly pleased with capturing the smoke, the window and the detail on the bellows at the right had side of the picture without having the fire in the hearth blow totally out.
