Lentils.
I'm going to try a new approach with some of my images. The 20 minute edit.
The idea is that I restrict myself to twenty minutes for the developing and processing an image. If you include the selection, keywording (tagging), upload and a much briefer than normal description then maybe we'll deliver something in under 40 minutes.
Hopefully this will help 1) control my addiction to processing, 2) and my addiction to chatter, and 3) publish some more of the backlog of ideas.
This is lentils for Macro Wednesday, and my 100x Monochrome and tinted :)
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy Mittwochsmakro & 100x :)

Wild rose.
With the wet Spring and the sunny summer the dog roses and briars in the wayside undergrowth are all doing well. As most of my photos are taken on my walks in the local lanes I'm awash with images, searching for those elusive anther shots...
This is one such, for Mittwochsmakro, my 100x challenge and my 20 Edit attempt.
And, as an added bonus, you can play spot the beasts. Any advance on two?
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy Macro Wednesday and 100x :)

Cumulus.
I've often felt that, if ever I was confined to bed, I'd like to have a bed under a skylight so I could watch the clouds. They're something we take for granted but they are an ever-changing vista of immense drama and grandeur.
This was taken the other day when the cumulus was roiling in the heavens. A suitable subject for monochrome I think. Hope you like it anyway.
This is for the Thursday Monochrome group, my 100x monochrome and toned challenge, and my 20 minute (-ish lol) edit escapade...
[Handheld in daylight.

Red Bottlebrush.
I have to thank my Australian friends for lending me some of their national flora to grow in my front garden where they seem to love the sunshine. The Callistemons are interesting plants, but very prickly with sharpy spikes at the end of the leaves. Roo-proofing I guess.
This is one of two close-ups for Macro Wednesday, both in colour. I hope to publish a monochrome one tomorrow of a different view.
I love the abstract nature of this image... all blurry bits.
And both of today's are suitable for my 20-minute edit challenge I have set myself :)
Thank you for taking the time to look. I hope you enjoy the image. Happy Mittwochsmakro :)
