There is a place I like to go hiking in the fall called Hidden Lake Gardens, located west of Tecumseh. Every October I take the 2.5 mile path that goes past this one brilliant young maple. Every year I try to catch the maple at its peak, but this is as close as I have ever come when I've had a camera along.
