I went out again this morning - just to the field. After the rain we had yesterday and the cool-down it brought and the clear skies last night, I thought I would be out on the road this morning, searching for light in the mist, but when I opened the front door to let Lucy out, the air felt like the Amazon rain forest. Ugh. No fog or mist, but pretty good wetness.

I've become fascinated with tthe webs in the morning dew. These latest were taken in the field next to my house. I was out there in the morning in my pajamas, soaking wet with chilly dew, taking shots.

I went out to the field this morning.
Today the jerk that owns it mowed all the flowers down. The insects and birds and rabbits that thrived in this field will leave or die. This beautiful place is a boring, flat, ugly mowed field.
