I went here on Friday with Emily and her friend, Ariel and Ariel's mother, who is also my friend. Kind of a mother/daughter outing.

The Michigan and State theaters used to be the only theaters in town. I went to my first movie - "Pinocchio" at the State. The Michigan has been rennovated and is quite beautiful inside.
The Ann Arbor clock tower is in the background. I have always wanted to play it.

The Michigan Theater is a place I hadn't been to in years. It's been restored and the theater opened its doors to the crowds, providing a place to cool down, rest your feet, enjoy popcorn and drinks, and use the rest rooms.
A guy played the beautiful pipe organ from one to three - we just caught the end of that.
