To Walk a Pale Land (one of a series). I’ve always loved a horizontal Milky Way hugging the landscape. This only happens for a few months of the year and for a limited time on those nights. In the American Southwest there have been wildfires in large numbers in the last few years making the low sky hazy and smoky, making it harder to get clear images through the low atmosphere. Looking back it makes me value these low Milky Way shots even more. Gentle Low Level Lightning (lowlevellighting.org) used to subtly lighten the landscape. 14-24 mm lens, 20 mm, f/2.8, 25 sec, ISO 12,800. Hope you enjoy, Cheers, Wayne
