From the Archives: Here’s one I was slow to post for a couple of reasons. First, this location is super popular and there are an awfully lot of photos of this formation on the internet. Second, this was taken a few years ago when lighting was permitted in Arches National Park. Please be aware that Lightning is now longer allowed in Arches. Trying to reproduce a similar image now would be breaking park rules, so please do not use Low Level Lightning in the park now. Single Exposure, 14-24 mm lens, f/2.8, 15 sec, ISO 10,000.
