Good morning. As the title states, today's posting are for the boys and all aviation buffs with three images taken at a recent airshow beginning with the above very colorful nose section of a piston engine driven aircraft.

To see a wider view of the above aircraft please see below link:

And thanks to flickr friend Scott who indentified this plane as a Nanchang CJ-5/6.

Take care...and I hope everyone has a great day.

What caught my eye here was the fact this propeller stopped in a perfectly vertical position. Imagine what the law of averages would be for that to happen. Probably one zillion to one.

I don't know if the owner of this aircraft was Scottish by descent or not, but I did like the name on the nose of this aicraft. Of which you can see a full view in the link below:

...and all the aviation and history buffs out there. A B-25 Mictchell Bomber manufactured by North American Aviation in 1944 and currently owned by Lone Star Flight Museum. On lone here to the DAV Flight Team while touring the airshow circuit.

Good morning. I felt like sharing a bit of history this morning in the form of this aircraft seen at an airshow not long ago. Hopefully for some it will be a nice change of pace from photos of butterflies and other things.

Take care...and I hope everyone has a great day.
