Strobist: Quantary QDC900WA camera right & above, 1/16 power into umbrella, triggered by Yongnuo RF-602's. Post work in Lightroom for tones and vignette.

My first post using the off camera flash gear I picked up recently. Of a camera I bought on eBay recently :) The Quantary flash I have was collecting dust on my bookshelf so I thought it about time I used it. I added a swivel bracket, umbrella and a cheap set of Yongnuo flash triggers. For $30, these eBay triggers are quite impressive, no misfires yet and also double as a remote shutter trigger if need be. Haven't got a lightstand yet so my tripod is doing double duty for now. Also have a pc cord for syncing the trigger to my film cameras. That pc socket you see on the Konica here seems to be in working order as I used it to trigger the flash for a pic of my wife.

All in all, happy at my first attempts and another voyage of learning begins.

In other news, my photostream just passed 50,000 views. A nice little milestone.

Hasselblad 500CM
Carl Zeiss 80mm f/2.8 Planar
Hasselblad Polaroid 100 Back
Fuji FP-100C
Exposure: f/4.0 1/125

Strobist: Quantary QDC900WA camera right, 1/16 power, triggered by Yongnuo RF-602's.

Been a while since I shot with my Polaroid back and I am still on the same pack of expired FP-100C instant film. The further I have gone into the pack, the more normal the tones seem to be. Rated at ISO 100, I have found a bit of overexposure by metering at ISO 64 and peeling apart at the full 2 minutes seems to do the trick.

As a side note, you may have noticed the exif data for this shot. I finally got round to messing with Analogexif that a I downloaded a while back. Reasonably easy to use for adding Exif to your film scans once you have all your bodies, lenses and film types set up. Follow the link to download.
