Morning serenity with a crowning cloud above Idaho's Mt. Heyburn and other Sawtooth peaks mirrored in Little Redfish Lake.

Have a wonderful week!

The evening winds ruffled the sunset skies nicely this lovely evening at Depoe Bay OR.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday and have a great week ahead.

A colorful sunset over BC's Fraser Lake. Best way to close out a day.

"Sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully."
Kristen Butler

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Said to be the most colorful lake on the AlCan Highway. Must agree, it was a brilliant teal green, especially when the sun broke thru the clouds.

I liked the dual reflections, skies and land.

"The jade green color of the lake is attributed to the presence of copper oxide leached from the bedrock underneath. Its name is derived from the Kaska language in which "muncho" translates as "big water."
Wikipedia

Some have suggested it was named by camping hippies.....who got hungry......

Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start!

Clouds pop high and low over and on Banff's Herbert Lake. The first treat one sees as you head north on the spectacular Icefield's Parkway on the way to Jasper.

Herbert lake is often overlooked on the Icefields Parkway, as you pass it not long after the southern gates. Its location and more famous neighbours means the lake remains pretty quiet throughout the summer. It's a gorgeous lake with stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks.

Thanks for taking a look!
