A portion of Rainier's Skyline Trail above the appropriately named Paradise Visitors Center. A few peaks of the Tatoosh Range in the distance.

The wildflowers were past their prime but were still beautiful.

The lower section of the trail is paved for handcap access, allowing many more folks to enjoy this stunning scenery.

Continuing with the splendor that I experienced when I stepped away from the camper (shown in comments) on this glorious morning.

Conveniently another early riser quietly paddled slowly by in his red canoe in the rain as the loons, grebes and other songbirds serenaded us with their soothing morning song. It just doesn't get much better than this.
