The morning fog bank didn't completely block the day's first light on Pyramid Peak. Patience paid off this morning.
A favorite place to begin a new day. Hence I've taken many shots from here, some more posted below in comments.
I also have some grand memories of shooting with some very special people here.

A view of the Bow Valley Parkway in autumn with one of the billion beautiful peaks near Banff (OK I exaggerate: a million peaks). This old highway runs between Banff and the Lake Louise junction, paralleling the Trans Canada highway. It provides better opportunities for seeing wildlife and mountain vistas than following the busy freeway.
I'm not ready to say goodbye to the grandeur of Autumn yet. Autumn may be gone out my window but isn't in my images or fond memories. Fall just doesn't last long enough.
Had a mac attack yesterday. Thought I'd lost everything but was able to recover. Went thru all my sailor words multiple times, but didn't seem to help much. Such a distressful feeling. Glad my blood pressure is somewhat back to normal now and all systems are go.

Looking down on the Big Arm section of Montana's Flathead Lake. The teal tones are due to glacial silt flowing down from the Flathead rivers from Glacier National Park.
This is just a wee slice of this impressive lake. Flathead Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi in the lower 48 states, with over 200 square miles of water and 185 miles of shoreline.
