An early morning shot of Mt. Rainier mirrored nicely in one of the Reflection lakes. Mountain Paradise indeed.

Thanks for your visit and for any comments, faves or suggestions.

After yesterdays colorful image thought I'd post a b/w image.

A b/w version of an earlier shot of Idaho's Galena Summit and southern Sawtooths. An area I look forward to returning to.

Color version in comments.

Your visits, remarks and suggestions are appreciated.

A mother nurturing her calf.
The young are also known as "Yellow Dogs," due to their coats coloring and playful antics.
They are adorable and fun to watch.

Taken in Yellowstone's Lamar Valley (America's Serengeti).

Thanks for taking a look.

Enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Foxgloves popped up in our yard a couple years ago. Thought they were a weed at first before these beautiful blossoms arrived. Glad I gave them a chance. They are a popular hummingbird and bee magnet. A welcome addition to our yard now.

However, their beauty hides a dangerous side. Depending on the species, the digitalis plant may contain several deadly physiological and chemically related cardiac and steroidal glycosides. Thus, the digitalis plants have earned several, more sinister, names: dead man’s bells and witch's gloves. Beware their allure can create hazards if ingested in any form.

Have a fabulous Friday and weekend.
