This doe is one of several whitetail does that call our acreage home. She generally has twins each June. It was fun and heartwarming to watch her raise these sweet fawns this summer. I suspect they wonder what we're doing in "their" yard.
This was taken thru our front room window as they lay in our front yard, relaxed and at ease.
We look out our windows, front and back, before going out in order to not disrupt them if possible. Also makes for a good excuse for delaying some of the outdoor honey-do's.......

Bison calves are nicknamed Red Dogs, for their eye catching yellow/orange coat and their frisky frolicing which is such fun to watch. Since they are generally in a large herd there is much to watch and enjoy from many of these cute calves showing off their best moves and poses.
Thanks for any comments.

A small rainbow forms from the mists rising from the thunderous crash and high flow of the Yellowstone river's lower falls. Was loud, impressive and thrilling standing here.
The viewers on the overlook look like ants in the distance.
Thanks for taking a look!
