I paused for a spell to savor this wonderful perspective while walking along the shore of Lake Minnewanka on a clear October day. Mt. Astley in the distance.
"Lake Minnewanka is a glacial lake located in the eastern area of Banff National Park in Canada, about five kilometres northeast of the Banff townsite. The lake is 21 km (13 mi) long and 142 m (466 ft) deep, making it the 2nd longest lake in the mountain parks of the Canadian Rockies." Wikipedia

I found the Pot of Gold in Two Medicine. This bench does have a million dollar view. I came away with golden memories I'll never forget.
Had a great time in Glacier. The weather was wicked at times, but that is to be expected this time of year.
Had a wonderful time with dear flickr friends Lorien and Joe, JoLoLog.
We got in some great hikes, saw many animals, shared shooting and processing techniques and spent hours discussing our passion for image hunting. Was special sharing this "Disneyland for Nature Lover's" park with them. Thanks you two!
What a fabulous June! I enjoyed a week in Yellowstone, then 9 days in Glacier. The weather limited my shooting, but still had a terrific time. Hard not to be awed in those 2 parks.
Now time to hit those backed up chores....
