My camera caught this floating stream of mists well. Wasn't a constant stream, depending on the gusty winds.

Located near Big Sky Montana. There is a great trail to it. The canyon is carved by the South and West Forks of the Gallatin River. Low flow this time of year.

Ouzel Falls is named after the water ouzel (called both ouZel and ouSel). These small, slate-grey colored birds, also known as American dippers, are known for bobbing, or "dipping", along the rocks around fast moving streams, and diving under water in search of food. I enjoyed watching several of these quick birds while here. But couldn't get a shot with my landscape lens.

Thanks for taking a look!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Two fellow hikers at Jasper's Maligne Lake relax while enjoying this idyllic evening beauty on these 2 well-placed Park's red chairs.

Mt. Charlton and Mt Unwin in the distance.

May your weekend be wonderful!

Morning fortune at Banff's Two Jack lake this day. Often sunrises don't pop and glow like we wish after waiting in the dark and cold. Not this morning though. Daybreak developed slowly with lots of clouds over Mt. Rundle. And then the first warm rays of the sun struck. Bingo!

Thanks for taking a look, and for any comments, faves and suggestions!

Looking NW at Emerald Peak rising above Emerald Lake, BC.

"Emerald Peak is a 2,701-metre (8,862-foot) mountain summit located in Yoho National Park, in the Canadian Rockies of British Columbia, Canada. It rises 1,256-metre (4,121-foot) above the northwest shore of the Emerald Lake.

Emerald Lake was named in 1900 on account of its color."

I believe that is the Hamilton Spur on the left and Michael Peak on the right of Emerald peak.

Enjoy a wonderful Sunday!

Fall colors were popping nicely in the park. One of the finest areas for fall foliage in the west.

Have a wonderful weekend!
