Here's a closer view of this cute fawn that I posted earlier. I was the first human he/she had ever seen. The fawn was looking me over as much as I was he/she. I didn't get too close, shot a few quick shots and left the fawn to rest, as it had only been out in the world for a few hours. As the fawns grow they become fairly tame around here, since they are quite common and no hunting is allowed. Cars are their primary hazard. They appreciate the great salads (flowers, new shrubs) we have for them. I keep a water trough full and fresh for them from May to October. They have become a welcome and very enjoyable part of our family (right Mike!).
