A shot of one of the most popular scenic benches in America, at Artist's Point.

Was a challenge to get a second when it wasn't crowded and being used…...

"Artist Point is a small cape on the south rim of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, with one of the most widely-known and most celebrated views of the Lower Falls. The point is 3/4 of a mile below the falls, and has also been referred to historically as Lookout Point.
Most historians believe Frank J. Haynes named this point in 1883 for his belief that artist Thomas Moran had painted his famous masterpiece from this spot. Despite the common mythology, however, Moran actually made his paintings from the North Rim at a point now known as Moran Point.
Artist Point is located at the end of the South Rim Drive, up a short walkway to a recently renovated concrete and stone platform viewing area. During the summer, this is one of the busiest spots in the park."
