This image is dedicated to all people who lost their home in the recent CZU Lightning Complex in the San Mateo and Santa Cruz Counties in California. There is a sad story behind each of the 1500 structures that were destroyed. Personally I can’t imagine how it feels like to loose one's home. Especially in this difficult time it is important to find support with loved ones and friends. We wish all of you strength and resilience to rebuild, and overcome the hardship. May phoenix rise from the ashes.
We went into a forest burned by wildfire with a model friend. She threw flour up into the air to create wings.
I processed a realistic and a balanced HDR photo from two RAW exposures, separately for each image, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
