Taken 30 miles north of Athabasca Alberta. Had to get up early to photograph the sharptail grouse at 5am so I got up another hour ealier to get the full milky way and even end up with the northern lights showing.

Last evening the skies were clear and the moon already had set so it was a perfect night for some stars. Taken using Bower 14mm 2.8 lens. f4 Isle Lake Alberta. The orange colour on the horizon is light pollution.
