Morning Blues in Irsina

My favorite time to be out and about when traveling is well before the break of dawn, I like to wander the empty streets to soak up as much ambiance as possible and really get a feel for a place.

This time of morning is always like Christmas for me as I wait for the light to unwrap the scenes I have glimmered in the inky black and hope for some interesting colors and favorable light to present themselves to my lens.

This scene is the old piazza in Irsina one of the delightful villages and towns within the province of Matera in the region of Basilicata and a place not be missed.

I took this with my D750 and Nikon 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens at 28mm 8s, f/11 ISO 100 processed in LR, PS +Lumenzia, Topaz Denoise

Disclaimer: My style is a study of romantic realism as well as a work in progress.
