Let us all make this a year to remember - in a good way, to wipe out the bad things that have happened in the first 2 decades of this centuries! A new relationship with Europe, with the world and with the planet - our one and only home! New kindly and loving relationships with friends, family and strangers, and a fond farewell to Covid please!

I am starting a 365 project - with the intention of taking daily photos of my garden to plot the changes through the seasons. This one is obviously not in the garden, but it is a plant next to a window that looks into the garden, so I am going to allow this!

Having decided to chronicle the garden through the year, I have started today with a sunlit, but cold and almost colourless day. Everything looks drab and messy, but I understand it is snowing in Birmingham so perhaps we will get some more to brighten the day - cant go anywhere anyway.... I hope everyone out there on the roads is taking great care and staying safe!

Snowdrops - this clump of snowdrops starts flowering around Christmas, and will go on til Easter probably.

For my 365 project of the garden - there isn't much difference in the garden, day on day at this time of year, so it is inevitable that there will be close-ups like this from time to time.
