Almost too perfect....

Until I can get Lightroom sorted I am reduced to sharing old pictures with you! This one seems to be appropriate. It's pouring, chilly and dark here!

So - here I am with this wretched little cold, and a dental appointment. I tried to cancel, but this was discouraged, so off we go. In the dentist's chair for an hour and a half, with stuff running down the back of my throat, and unable to swallow. Three roots later, and we are back to the car and driving home (20 miles!!) and we get a flat tyre!! The car came equipped with a bag of gunk and NO spare wheel. When the tyre is a write-off, the bag of gunk is useless. So we call the roadside assistance people. Thank goodness for the men in my life ( and I am cautious when I say things like that!) My son drove out to pick me and my sore face up, and Peter stayed to wait for the repair man. All is well......I hope!

He has been painting again! I am quite impressed with this one - except for the reflection in the glass - I just thought I would show you because I am sitting here feeling sorry for myself, and am mildly annoyed that Peter can do anything he puts his mind to, while I end up doing the cooking and the cleaning etc.....I know - cos he tells me so, that it's my choice - he doesn't care what the house looks like, and he certainly doesn't care whether his clothes are clean and tidy! Small boy of nearly 78 that he is!!!
