...that we have to dispose of! While we are trying NOT to buy anything plastic, certainly no single-use plastic, it is almost impossible, still, to buy things without plastic packaging. We live 20 miles away from a big city, so we have to rely on local shops and the internet. If I have to go to the supermarket for food - which is the only place I can walk to(!!! ie not use the car!!!) I can't buy a cucumber or a lettuce without its plastic wrap - I have taken to removing all unnecessary wrapping at the till, and leaving it behind. Yesterday, I was told by the cashier that I shouldn't do that - it wasn't her fault! No, but it is the fault of the supermarket...
