This is the plot of land that sits opposite our house. It has been like this since about 2004 when planning permission was sought for the construction of 4 houses and 3 flats!! There were objections - can you think why that might be? But, the planners took no notice and permission was granted. Fortunately, (or not,) the Brewery who own the lane refused to allow access for more than one entrance, so the developers have been trumped. They choose to leave the plot like this - in the middle of the beautiful and celebrated Cotswold Market town of Stow on the Wold. I have spent most of today writing letters and emailing photos to relevant people as my brain finally exploded this morning at 6am!!

If anyone has any ideas at all about how to deal with this kind of impasse, I would surely love to hear...
