The Serra de Tramuntana is a spectacular ridge of mountains running along the length of Mallorca's west coast. It's been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO under the Cultural Landscape category, reflecting what a special place it is. This image was taken from the northern end of the ridge, near the Cap de Formentor, looking back at layers of jagged ridges backlit by the setting sun.
