Taken from the shores of Loch Morlich in the Cairngorms yesterday. The weather was dull but calm and the mirror surface of the loch was only disturbed by the occasional Goldeneye swimming past.

Taken last week on one of those evenings of sunshine and showers that can produce spectacular lighting conditions. As I reached the top, the low sun was illuminating the arc of Stanage Edge and the golden moorland.
