The last of the three sisters passed away. My calico ended its journey through this life today. Weighing 4,900kg, always playful and with appetite, within 3 weeks she was reduced to half her weight due to a sudden and violent kidney failure. She was still hospitalized for two days and had two injections and serum once a week plus daily medication on the remaining days, for fifteen days, but nothing delayed the inevitable. She passed away today at home. She kept us company from the first minute to the last.
Thank you for everything, Kalika of my heart.
We will always miss you.

Now we only have Patuska, who we found three years after the three sisters were born, with no more than two weeks old and who was probably abandoned by her mother.
