Fortunate to notice Silverstone from seat 23A and just had time to set the zoom to 200mm and shoot. This was on the Wednesday before the British GP (2009) and many of the F1 trucks can already be seen in the paddock (and track!).
Final image was considerably enhanced with Gimp. Dehazed with unsharp mask, sharpened the luminosity channel, blended some selective gaussian blur, and passed through ProviaFX filter.
