This week is a bit different: it's video week!

This the music video of me and my band performing the song: "The Satin Lady". The song is about me, my Flickr stream and includes the warning to not fall in love with me 😉.
It features:
- Paula Satijn - vocals.
- Paula Strings - guitar.
- Paula Sweet - bass.
- Paula Beat - drums.

I made this video together with my friend Fiona. I chose the dark gothic black & red style, created the outfits and did all the performances. Fiona made the song and music, shot the video and edited it all together. She did an awesome job that I would never be able to do myself, so eternal thanks to her!

The song and video are in gothic style because in reality gothic is indeed the music I love. Now I do listen to goth music a lot, yet I cannot play any instrument. Therefore making the video was quite challenging for me and you may notice a bit of amateurism on the drums and guitars. But hey, I did my best.

The video is from some years ago and it used to be available on Youtube, so you may have seen it already. However, others may not have seen it and since it is not available on Youtube anymore I want to feature and preserve it here on my Flickr channel.

This week is a bit different: it's video week!

This video is titled: "A day in the life of Paula Satijn". The video was made years ago but apart from getting a bit older I did not change at all. Therefore the video still shows me exactly how I am: how I love to be feminine, how I love to wear pretty dresses and how I love to be wrapped in soft silky satin. And most importantly: how this makes me all happy and cheerful.

It features me in various outfits and it basically has 3 sections:
- Getting up and getting dressed.
- The maid (dienstmeisje).
- The dancing queen.

The video is from many years ago and it has been available on Youtube also, so you may have seen it already. However, others may not have seen it yet so I want to salvage this video from the hidden corners of Youtube and feature it here on my Flickr channel too.

Today I'm walking in the forest in my own girly style. Normally I only post photos here on Flickr, but since walking is movement I'm adding a bonus video this week. Nothing special, just me happily walking in the forest. It would be fun if you walk together with me my friend.

Normally I only post photos but I happen to have a small video available as well so why not post it. It's nothing special, just me going outside on the hotel balcony in Greece, and waving goodbye to you at the end. Bye-bye and hopefully see you again next week.

I'm having my morning coffee in the garden, still wearing my pink satin nightie. However, I cannot be lazy for too long, work needs to be done. Come with me to the back of the garden, where we can start with mowing the lawn. Of course this needs to be done in sweet girly style, in my pink satin nightie and on pink high heels. Not very practicable maybe, but for sure lots of fun!
