The sharp peak in the center is the famous Dent du Geant (Giant's Tooth), height 4013 m.

Furkastrasse, passing the Furka Pass at an altitude of 2431 m, is one of the most impressive Alpine crossings and offers exciting views of glaciers, craggy mountaintops, and scenic forested areas.
In 1964, the further fame for the Furka came thanks to the movie Goldfinger, the third James Bond film. The legendary agent 007 James Bond chased in his Aston Martin DB the Goldfinger's Rolls-Royce car through these hairpin bends on the Furka pass.

Gran Paradiso is Italy's oldest National Park and is called the Italian version of Yellowstone. The park ofers the typical alpine environments, picteresque mountains, rocks, glaciers, forests and lakes.
A beautiful hike through a larch and spruce forest runs alongside the Torrente Valleile to the spectacular Lilliaz waterfalls and from there the trail starts climbing up to Alpe Valleile (1907m).

View of the St. Gotthard pass (2106 m) from the south. This main pass in the Swiss Alps is called the "King of Mountain Passes".
The drive to the Gotthard Pass along the cobblestone paved historic Tremola road is a breathtaking and attractive experience. One of the highest paved roads in Europe, it is the longest road monument in Switzerland.
In its most important stretch, over a length of four kilometers it climbs a height of 300 meters in 24 hairpin bends

This viewpoint is part of the La Via del Nicolau hike in the Bastareni Valley.
From here you have a magnificent view of the city of Baga, the valley and the surrounding mountains of the Serra de Moixeró and Serra del Cadí ranges.
To the left rises the peak of Puigllançada (2409 m), in the center is the mountain Roc de Claniars, to the right of it is the dark green mountain Sant Marc de Brocà.
