1967 view of downtown Corpus Christi, probably in spring or early summer. I turned 15 that year and it's been so long I don't even remember taking the photo.

This film negative was damaged in a house fire in 1976 but I was able to remove the worst fire effects, although some blotchy stains remain.

Summer 1969 Austin skyline from West Lake Hills, my first photo of the Austin area taken around the time I turned 17 on a summer trip to visit relatives who lived in West Lake Hills.

Austin city had about 250,000 people and metro 400,000 people back then, whereas now the city is up to about 800,000 and metro about 1,750,000, amazing growth in 40 years.

I moved to the Austin area in September 1970 to attend the University of Texas and have lived in this area ever since.
