Winter trip (just before Vernal Equinox of 2013) to Yellow Dog Plains. Found very deep snow on the plains. Cabins have 4-5 feet of snow on the roof. Up to the very tops of every chimney! Deep snow on ground, too -- we skied right over buried woodpiles. It snowed the entire time we were there, about 48 hours. The Triple A was barely visible, and just plowed to the Salmon Trout River. A great treat, to see the plains in this wild time of year (from a cozy warm cabin window).
