The backside of Lighthouse Point is visible in the distance. Just up the shoreline to the left, invisible in these images, is the mouth of the Iron River (aka the Yellow Dog River).

Hard to see, but a small predator (fox?) crossed this snowmobile trail, and at the center of the trail, it left a marking. Not really scat per say, but a couple blobs of dark liquid. I came across this during a "Winter Bird Count" for the Yellow Dog Watershed.
