Clyde Holliday State Park is a camping oasis along the John Day river. Campground features the sound of the rushing river, a walking trail, an oxbow full of frogs behind my campsite, and lovely views of blue mountains to the south (some with snow). Lots of ducks, wood-ducks, canadian geese (some of which flew up and sat in the cottonwoods overnight, which I've never seen before).
