Road sediment from winter (plowing, grading, heavy truck traffic for Eagle Mine) are now washing into the Salmon Trout River as the snowbanks melt. The water (and sand/gravel) has breached the strawbale-sheeting several times/places and sediments are visible all along this stretch of the river. Meanwhile, the forested slopes above the river are also being cut.
