Coyote in Lamar Valley of the Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is a fantastic place for watching wildlife. Winter is a special time in Yellowstone, because animals are easier to see on the snow, and also because there are way fewer people. Unlike most of the park, the road through Lamar Valley is open year round and you can see bison, elk, and coyote, and if you are lucky - wolves and otters.

Explored on March 19, 2020, at #73. Note that Explore was (and maybe still is) in the process of testing a new algorithm, with different people being shown different "strands" of Explore with different images in each. Thus the number of explored images has temporarily increased manyfold (I don't know how many strands there are, maybe just two) and suddenly it became that much easier for regular folks like me to get in.
